The original aim of the project was to examine approximately 1,000 British schools.
That remains the objective.
England contains by far the largest quantity of material, and the English data will probably have to be divided by county or region.
The North-West is among the next areas to be analysed.
London, Greater Manchester, the West Midlands, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire contain particularly large quantities of material and will therefore require considerably more time to process.
Once the first thousand schools have been examined, the intention is to compare the Facebook results with surviving material previously collected from Friends Reunited.
That comparison may reveal whether the two social-media eras produced broadly similar patterns.
